On June 23rd, I attended a We the People Rally on the steps of the capitol in Harrisburg to urge lawmakers to spend some of the 3 billion dollar surplus + 7 billion dollar American Recovery Act funds to fund education in the state of Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania has been underfunding and inequitably funding education for years.  Our students, teachers, and districts deserve better--and for once the money is there to make it an easy action!
